Frugal Family: Deals at Sakonnet Vineyards, GAP & Old Navy and the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra

1. I just received one of those chain emails (which I’m glad I didn’t delete as I usually do) about increasing our USA purchases. It talked about checking the labels on everything from food to furniture. Spend the extra couple cents to get canned fruit from California instead of from China. If we all made a habit of this we would be supporting USA business & increasing US jobs! This week think of frugal in the bigger picture, we need to support each other and get back our US economy. THINK LOCAL! Right here in Tiverton we have , who do complete heating systems and sheet metal work of all kinds, but you could also purchase a beautiful lantern or weathervane.
