Frugal Family: Deals on Facials, Jewelry and Valentine's Day Dinners for Two

We're all watching our family budgets these days. Whether shopping with coupons or looking for two-for-one deals, we're taking advantage of all sorts of offers and savings that help us stretch our dollars. 

This column will be dedicated to giving you five great local deals each week that will help your family’s bottom line, and since we do the scouting for you, you can save time as well as money.

This week, Frugal Family scoured the area for great deals and ideas for Valentine's Day. Remember to check with the merchant for additional conditions.

Shopping at the Malls:

• Spend $75 or more at Dartmouth Mall stores between Feb. 4 and Feb. 14 and you'll receive a plush lovable Valentine's puppy,  free! Simply present your same-day mall receipts at Customer Service. (Offer good while supplies last. One gift per customer). 
• Spend $50 or more at Swansea Mall from Thursday, Feb. 10 through Monday, Feb. 14 and receive a free $10 Swansea Mall Gift Card. Simply present your current-day Swansea Mall receipts to the Customer Service Center to receive your free gift card. This offer is limited to one per customer, while supplies last. If you are there to get your valentines gift (for your sweetie or yourself ) you can also have it wrapped for free with “festive heart paper and a red bow."

 A Special Dinner Out:

Some Glitz and Glamour

• Does your partner have a little trouble picking out your gifts? If you’re a girl who likes to sparkle, maybe you could give him a little nudge with these deals. Patenaude Jewelers, at 1473 South Main St., Fall River, MA is having a 50% off sale on all Karat Gold Jewelry and Diamonds and 30% off select watches from now until Valentine’s Day.
