Frugal Family: Home Depot Father's Day Workshops, Relay For Life Gulls Game and Sakonnet Farmers Market Starts

1. What: Weekly farmer’s market right here at Tiverton Four Corners on the lawn of the Soule Seabury House. All the farmers are local and producing their own crops or products. You can purchase fresh fruits and vegetables including strawberries, vegetable and herb plants, flowers, goat’s milk soap, soy candles, home made jams and jellies, artisan breads, calzones, and something I can’t wait to try- a tomato bomb, sounds delicious!!
Who: Root’s Farm, Skinny Dip Farm, Muddy Feet Flower Farm, Rocky Hooves Farm, , Crow’s Nest Farm, Cory’s Kitchen, , and Seapowet Shellfish.
When: Saturday’s until October starting this week, June 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

2. Strike Out Cancer - Baseball with the Newport Gulls!
What: benefit event. Come show your support for a great cause and enjoy a great night of baseball with the Newport Gulls. Tickets are $4.00 each (half goes to the Relay). There will be a 50/50 raffle and raffle of Purple Bats.
When: Monday, June 20, 6:30 a.m. at Cardines Field, Newport, RI. Call for ticket information at 401-855-0885.

3. The Home Depot’s Father’s Day Workshops – FREE event
When: Saturday, June 18, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
What: For Father’s Day, bring the kids in to build a mini toolbox for Dad. All children will get to keep their craft and receive a free Kids Workshop Apron, commemorative pin and certificate of achievement.
