Frugal Family: Science Fun Night, Nature Programs and Jewelry Reuse
CVS deals, jewelry repair with Tiffany Peay, Wacky Wednesdays at Vinney's Kitchen and the last night for Sakonnet Vineyards music nights.
1. Mad Science of Southern MA & RI, in cooperation with the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, will be presenting a Science Fun night for kids age 5 to 12 and their families. There will be a live science show at 6 p.m., cool experiments, activities, and you can enter to win a free Mad Science birthday party!
Where: Heritage State Park Visitors Center, Fall River, MA
When: Wednesday, Sept. 7, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
2. What can be more frugal, or rewarding, than reusing an old, favorite piece of jewelry? Peter Tirpeack will be at on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and by appointment. Peter could repair a broken piece of jewlery or remake an old classic into a new favorite. Contact Tiffany for more information.
