Little Compton Police: Reported Breaking and Entering, Graffiti and Weird Letter

A South Shore Road resident reported a breaking and entering last Monday morning, Oct. 10, at the office of Round Meadows Campground, a privately-owned camping area near .
The male caller said some power tools were taken and the office door was damaged. are investigating the matter.

A Long Pasture Road resident called police at 3:56 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13 to report that she received a suspicious letter in the mail from someone offering to buy her home in cash. Police are investigating the matter.

A West Main Road resident came to the police station at 1:07 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 10, to report three 5-gallon cans of gas and a marine battery were stolen overnight from his boat tied up at Sakonnet Harbor.

A Crandall Road resident called police at 5:18 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13, to report that someone spraypainted graffiti on a storage container sitting in her front yard.
