Little Compton Police: Bench Warrant and Power Tools Reported Stolen
The following information was supplied by the Little Compton Police Department. Arrests do not necessarily indicate a conviction.

Steven Demers, 52, of 106 Kenyon Ave., Apt. 3, Pawtucket, was arrested at 12:02 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 9 after being stopped by on John Dyer Road in Little Compton.
Demers was taken into custody based on an outstanding family court bench warrant for failure to appear.
Property owner reports several stolen items

The owner of 241 West Main Road called police at 9:33 a.m., Sunday Feb. 12 to report that several buildings on his property were broken into overnight. He told police that powertools and landscaping equipment were stolen from the buildings. The matter is under investigation.

The caretaker of 57 Meeting House Lane reported at 8:07 a.m., Monday, Feb. 6 that the mailbox and post for that residence were vandalized overnight.
