Little Compton Police: Bench Warrant, Home Break and Dundery Book Sign Kicked Over

Bench warrant
Penny J. Jerdin, 40, of 38 Main Road, Westport, MA, was arrested at 9:55 a.m., Saturday, April 28. She was taken into custody based on an outstanding bench warrant for failure to appear in Second District Court. She was pulled over for not wearing her seatbelt.

A Sakonnet Trail resident reported to police at 6:05 p.m., Tuesday, April 24 that sometime during the day his home was broken into and items were stolen. Police are investigating.

Stolen jewelry
A Grange Avenue resident came into the station at 12:22 p.m., Friday, April 27 several pieces of jewelry missing from her home sometime within the past two weeks.
