Little Compton Police Log: Woman Rips Screen, Mailboxes Knocked Over, Chickens Keep Eating Grass Seed
The following arrests and incidents were reported by Little Compton police recently.

Little Compton Police charged 24-year-old Whitney Correia with domestic disorderly conduct and domestic vandalism after officers responded to a Colebrook Road address on May 15 for a report of a domestic issue in progress.
Police said police learned that Correia got into a “heated argument” with her mother and ripped the screen off of a window. She was arrested and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions in Cranston at around 4:07 p.m.

On May 12, police charged Shaun Clattenburg, 36, of Fairhaven, Mass., with driving with an expired license. Police said Clattenburg was stopped for a motor vehicle violation at around 8:31 a.m. and police noticed his license had expired. He was issued a District Court summons.
On May 15, John Greely, 55, of Somerset, Mass., was charged with driving with a suspended license at around 10:59 a.m. Police said Greely was stopped for a motor vehicle infraction and police noticed his license was suspended. He was arrested and transported to District Court for arraignment.

On May 18, police investigated a minor motor vehicle accident that occurred when the driver of the senior bus backed into an unoccupied vehicle at around 10;33 a.m. Nobody was hurt and both vehicles sustained minor damage.
On May 13, a resident brought a wallet found lying in the road to police headquarters. The wallet, which was found on West Main Road, was returned to its owner.
On May 13, a resident brought a diabetes receiver found lying on Round Pond Road to police headquarters. The owner was contacted and came to pick it up.
On May 14, a resident told police that several mailboxes were knocked down at the top of his driveway. Responding officers soon learned that a driver of a Humphrey’s Building Supply truck accidentally knocked them down and agreed to fix the damage.
On May 12, police stopped a car on Crandall Road and found a juvenile operator who did not have a license nor was he old enough to have one at around 10:52 p.m. The incident remains under investigation.
On May 14, a resident turned in ammunition that she found in her basement.
On May 18, police took a report from an Old Main Road resident who said several items were missing from her house. Detectives reported that there were no signs of forced entry and the matter remains under investigation.
On May 18, an East Main Road resident complained to police that his neighbor’s chickens were pecking at his newly-planted grass seed.
Police spoke with the chicken owner who said that the animals escaped their cage. He apologized for the incident.
