Little Compton Police Logs: Warrant Arrest and Pot Possession
The following arrests were supplied by the Little Compton Police Department. They do not indicate a conviction.
arrested a Tiverton man on an arrest warrant last week and turned him over to the to be charged.
Robert Rancourt, 21, of 739 East Road, Tiverton, was arrested at 2:19 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23, in Little Compton. Police pulled him over for a motor vehicle violation and, after a routine check, found that he had an outstanding warrant with the Tiverton Police. He was delivered to Tiverton and is facing charges of violating a no contact order and failure to relinquish a telephone.

Daniel Bernier, 31, of 217 Stafford Road, Tiverton, was arrested at 1:52 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 25, in Little Compton. He was charged with possession of marijuana and operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license. Police originally pulled Bernier over for having an expired inspection sticker. The other charges followed after a routine check.
