Little Compton Police: Resisting Arrest and Flowers Reported Stolen

Resisting arrest and violation of a no contact order
Charles F Sherman, 58, 57 Francis Lane, Little Compton, was arrested at 11:49 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 16, by Little Compton police. He was charged with violation of a no contact order and resisting arrest.
Police were reportedly called to the residence by Sherman's wife, who has a no contact order against him. When officers located Sherman inside the residence and went to place him under arrest, he allegedly began to resist by pulling away. He eventually complied and was taken into custody.

Flowers reported stolen
Police received a complaint from a Carey Lane resident at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 18. The resident reported that a two-foot hydrangea was dug up and stolen from her property.
