Little Compton Police: Shots Fired, Mailboxes Vandalized
The following arrests were supplied by the Little Compton Police Department. They do not indicate a conviction.
The reports the following incidents and arrests from Dec. 26, 2011, to Jan. 2, 2012:
Incident
A Bramblewood Cross resident reported around 8:12 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, that several mailboxes in the neighborhood had been vandalized.

Arrest
Brian Medeiros Jr., 21, of 391 West Main Road, was arrested around 10 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, and charged with discharging a gun in a compact area. Officers were investigating a report of a person firing several shots in the air next to a seasonal business near Medeiros' residence. During the investigation, Medeiros reportedly admitted to officers that he had fired a shotgun in the air in that location.
