Little Compton Woman Charged with Domestic Violence
The following are excerpts from the Little Compton police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
- May 17, 12:45 a.m.: A 48-year-old woman from Little Compton, was issued several citations after police said she struck a mailbox on Simmons Road and left the scene. Police said they quickly found her vehicle parked behind a home on West Main Road.
- May 15, 11:29 a.m.: Liberty Cardell, 46, of Little Compton, was charged with domestic assault and battery. She was arrested after police responded to a report of an assault on Colebrook Road.
- May 12, 1:40 p.m.: Police responded to West Main Road for a report of a past burglary where thieves stole a Bose sound system and liquor bottles. Officers were investigating the incident.
