Local Man In Critical Condition After Friday Crash
A Tiverton man is still in critical condition at Rhode Island Hospital Monday after his motorcycle collided with a car on Main Road on Friday.

TIVERTON - Police are investigating a head-on collision that left a local man in critical condition on Friday, according to Lt. Patrick Jones.
Raymond Joubert, 74, of 15 Bayview Ave., Tiverton, was traveling southbound on Main Road at 4:35 on Friday when his 1995 Suzuki motorcycle collided with a northbound vehicle in front of Bridgeport Seafood. According to Jones, police have not determined whether Joubert or the other driver, a 31-year-old Tiverton resident, is at fault.
"There is not much information because Joubert was transported to Rhode Island Hospital," said Jones. "It appears that Joubert was operating his motorcycle south on Main Road and a collision took place where his motorcycle was struck by another vehicle traveling northbound. Joubert, given his injuries, was transported to Rhode Island Hospital."
