Man 'Jumping Fences' Charged With Stolen Car in Tiverton

charged a man with possessing a stolen car after reportedly being found acting suspicious in a local neighborhood.
Nicholas A. Imbriglio-Clement, 22, of Evergreen Ave., Tiverton, was arrested at 3:44 p.m., Friday, May 25. He was charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle, a felony.
Police received a report of two suspicious men "walking through yards" in the Cypress Avenue area. Lt. Patrick Jones said the caller described the men walking away from a vehicle wearing red and black hooded sweatshirts.

When police arrived, Jones said they found a white Toyota parked at the bottom of the Cypress Avenue cul-de-sac.
"It felt out of place," Jones said.

Officers checked the area and were reportedly unable to find the men, Jones said. Shortley thereafter, another officer checked the area and observed two men fitting the description. Jones said police reportedly got a call of people seen "jumping fences" in the area. The officer was able to grab both men, with Mr. Imbriglio-Clement wearing the red-hooded sweatshirt, and the other in the black sweatshirt.
During a pat search of Imbriglio-Clement, Jones said the officer found keys to a Toyota in his pocket. The keys were reportedly used to verify the car was stolen.
