Jones said officers made entry and found a man, Mr. White, and a woman arguing. Officers separated both parties to determine what was going on. It's alleged that White first spit at Sgt. Scott Beaulieu.
"A struggle ensued where Mr. White allegedly grabbed the uniform of the sergeant," Jones said. "The struggle continued with the sergeant and Mr. White crashing into a glass-top table, shattering it."

As White reportedly continued to struggle, officers Joseph Wieszbicki and Christopher Riley attempted to restrain him and place him into custody. During that struggle, Jones said Beaulieu and Wieszbicki received injuries: one to Beaulieu's left elbow and another just below Wieszbicki's knee.
A special signal sounded over emergency dispatch, and the two officers and White were transported to the hospital. Beaulieu received 14 stitches, Wiesbicki received eight and White also received stitches to his face from an injury from the glass table.
Both officers received medical attention and were later released.
