Missing New Jersey Girl Found Walking on Sakonnet Bridge
The following report was issued by the Tiverton Police Department.

took a 14-year-old New Jersey girl into custody Monday after she was found attempting to walk across the Sakonnet River Bridge.
Lt. Patrick Jones said police responded to a report at 11:30 a.m. Monday of a girl reportedly walking across the bridge. Officers were able to take her into custody without incident. He said the missing person report was filed on Sunday by the girl's parents with their local police department. She is from Leonia, NJ.
Jones said the girl reportedly drove a vehicle from New Jersey and parked it in a parking lot in Fall River. She was then going to reportedly walk from Fall River to the Middletown and Newport area to visit a friend.
