New Way to Meet Adoptable Dogs, Cats in Tiverton/Little Compton
Adoptable animals in Tiverton and Little Compton are looking to find a forever home through social media.
Friends of Tiverton and Little Compton Strays Facebook page was recently created to put a spotlight on the local cats and dogs up for adoption.
Some of the animals have been stuck at the Tiverton and Little Compton pound for a long time.
Here’s a look at a few of the adorable faces you will meet at the pound:

There are no local animal shelters in Tiverton and Little Compton. When a dog is lost in the area, it will be housed in the local pound at Sakonnet Veterinary Hospital,1320 Main Road. The stray dogs will then go up for adoption when they are unclaimed.
Anyone interested in adopting a pet must hold a meet-and-greet and fill out an adoption application. The first approved application gets priority.
