Police Find Drugs On Wanted Fall River Man
The following arrests were supplied by the Tiverton Police Department. They do not indicate a conviction.

arrested a man last week wanted on an active bench warrant in Newport Superior Court, and then found him in possession of different prescription drugs.
Thomas Devoll, 48, of 339 East Main St., Fall River, was arrested at 5:40 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 17, at 1185 Stafford Road in front of the Old Ranger School. Devoll was charged with three counts of possession of Schedule I drugs, all felonies, and was taken into custody on the outstanding bench warrant for a failure to appear for a cost review.
Lt. Patrick Jones said police stopped Devoll on Stafford Road on suspicion he was operating under the influence.

"He was swerving over the fog line and driving at a slow speed," Jones said.
Jones said the officer found Devoll's bench warrant for failure to appear and took him into custody. Back at the station, Jones said, police found a pill bottle in Devoll's front right pocket with "numerous" pills inside and no prescription label. Jones said there was an assortment of 18 pills, including Oxycodone, Methodone and Clonazapam.

Bench warrants
- Whitney J. Durfee, 46, of 2423 Main Road, Apt. 5, Tiverton, was arrested at 9:54 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 21 on Main Road. Durfee was taken into custody on an oustanding bench warrant in Second District Court in Newport. Jones said police were called to do a welfare check on Durfee and advised her of the active bench warrant.
- Robert Moniz, 55, of 127 O'Grady St., Fall River, was arrested at 11:20 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, at . Moniz was taken into custody on an oustanding bench warrant issued in Second District Court. Jones said police were advised of a suspicious vehicle parked at the cemetery at 11:10 p.m. that night. When police arrived and questioned Moniz, they found the active bench warrant.
- Joao Paulo Galiotti, 20, of 116 Quaker Ave., Tiverton, was arrested at 6:24 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23, at 1500 Fish Road near Trout Pond. Galiotti was taken into custody on an outstanding bench warrant issued in Second District Court.
