At 12:45 p.m., police reported a scam on Long Highway in which the resident received a call from a blocked number. The caller was described as a man with a foreign accent and identified himself as an agent of Homeland Security.

At 2:32 p.m., police reported an animal incident at Sakonnet Veterinary Hospital in which they were treating a small canine that was bitten by another dog on Grange Avenue.

At 10:28 a.m., police reported a possible breaking and entering of a motor vehicle on East Main Road. A caller reported that his car alarm went off and looked outside his window to see a figure running to a small white pickup truck. No items were reportedly taken from the vehicle and police are investigating the incident.
