Welcome to this week's Grab and Go Kids Planner. Do you want to spend some quality time with your family without having to waste time searching for what to do? We've got you covered. We've done the work for you by searching for the best local events for kids and families, usually also with with family-friendly prices!
Here are some great ways to get your family out of the house and into some fun family time. This week we've gathered a great list of inexpensive and free events. If you want to save even more, be sure to check out your local libraries museum passes that you can use to get free or discount admission at some museums.

- SAINT PATRICK’S DAY PARADE in Pawtucket
Where/When: Parade leaves Jenks Jr. High School (350 Division St Pawtucket, RI) at 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 5. Parade Route Info
Why Go: Everyone loves a parade. In addition to the parade there is a post parade party, Grand Marshal Reception, Cash raffle and raffle for trip to Ireland (see website for details)
Price: Free to watch parade/activities after the parade entail admission fees - AUDOBON SOCIETY: FREE FAMILY FUN DAY
Where/When: Audobon Environmental Education Center, 1401 Hope Street, Bristol, RI; Saturday, March 5, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Why Go: crafts, nature stories, animal discoveries, hikes and more.

Why Go: Activities such as a visit with the Cat in the Hat, free raffles, free books, readers all day.

Where/When: Providence Children’s Museum 100 South Street, Providence, RI /March 5 to March 6, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day
Why Go: . In honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday, join a wonderfully wacky weekend-long celebration full of crazy characters and Seussational activities. Create Seussical stick puppets, dig into oobleck for gooey hands-on fun, fashion Seuss-inspired chapeaus, and do some super sleuthing in a Seuss-themed hunt. Ages 3 to 11.

Why Go: Sakonnet Arts Network presents a town wide and school wide collaboration of School House Rock Live! Jr. Featuring a cast and crew of nealry 40 students from all three elementary schools and the Tiverton Middle School. Don't miss this family friendly and fun production, directed by Gloria Crist.
