Scituate Woman Wins New Ride
Durand's Kawaski Motorsports participated in a nationwide promotional contest this summer.

Local dealership helped one Rhode Island woman get a new set of wheels last month.
"In this day and age, you don't have many people giving things away," said Terry Cabral, an employee of Durand's. "We'd like to thank our customer base; they are the only way something like this is possible."
The giveaway was part of Kawasaki's nationwide promotional contest this summer.

For three months, customers could enter the contest at the store, online or via text message. Each participating dealership gave away a bike at the contest's conclusion, as well as various supplemental prizes, such as coupons for discounts on parts and bike purchases and concert tickets. All who entered are also eligible for a nationwide grand prize of a Vulcan 1700 Vaquero.
The local winner was Caitlin McGrath, of Scituate. Her arrival was delayed a bit due to a doctor's appointment, but her enthusiasm was not tempered one bit. She received a Kawasaki Ninja Ex 250.
