Seaconnet Point Farm Property Sells for $3.15 Million
The private compound is considered the highest sold price in Little Compton this year.

“High Point,” a 6.91 acre private compound in Little Compton sold last month for $3.15 million, according to Residential Properties Ltd. The colonial cottage, located in the Seaconnet Point Farm neighborhood, is the highest sold price for a home there this year.
The farm occupies Little Compton’s southwesternmost tip, and the residence is located behind The Farm’s private gated entrance. The neighborhood's interior is 75 acres, 46 of which are in permanent conservation. It is set on an expansive meadow of oceanview land fronting Round Pond and the main residence is an 11-room shingled house.

The property, built in 1955, has 2,759 square feet of living space, including five bedrooms and four full baths. Separate from the house are guest quarters and a garage, and the property has deeded access to two beaches— one public, one private. The house and its patio overlook dramatic views of the ocean, pond and a conserved fields of wildflowers. Sakonnet Harbor and Newport’s famed Cliff Walk can be seen in the distance.
According to Residential Properties, the farm sold in 81 days, which is considered 150 days less than the average days on market for Little Compton, which is currently 231. Chief Financial Officer Libby Isaacson said this sale is reflective of a statewide trend and a strong indication that Rhode Isand's high-end real estate market is "alive and well."
