The Tiverton Land Trust is planning two family walks at Pardon Gray Perserve on Saturday, October 18th. The first walk beginning at 9:30 is for children under the age of five. This easy walk will be along field trails with a short visit to the vernal pool area in the woods, and a visit with the grazing cattle. There will be magnifying glasses and binoculars to get a closer look at Mother Nature. This walk will last about forty five minutes.
A second walk beginning at 11:00 is for individuals and families over the age of five. After walking along the field trails, you will head into the fields for walks along the cemetery and this will last about seventy five minutes. Wear comfortable footwear and bring along water if you wish. Both hikes will start and end at the stone kiosk on Main Road. Rain date is Sunday, October 19, at the same times.
