"He appeared visibly shaken and out of breath," Blakey said of the victim.

The victim alleged he tried backing up his truck in a residential area just north of Bulgarmarsh Recreation Area and accidently honked his horn. A man, later identified as Sharp, reportedly began yelling obscenities. Blakey said the victim asked Sharp to stop yelling and swearing in front of his daughter, to which Sharp allegedly replied, "F--- you and I will f--- you up."

"This altercation took place in the roadway in traffic," Blakey added.

The victim apparently drove away while Sharp was still screaming. When the victim passed by after dropping his daughter off, Sharp was still there. Blakey said the victim slowed down, but Sharp allegedly grabbed a large stick and began chasing the victim on foot down the road.

Police arrived at Sharp's residence later in the day. Upon arrival, Blakey said Sharp told the police he "didn't do anything to the f------ guy" and appeared visibly upset.

"He said he was off the streets of Pawtucket and doesn't take s--- from anyone," Blakey said, adding that witnesses to the altercation attested to Sharp's litany of swearing in public. Police arrested Sharp at his home. During that process, a woman named Cheryl A. Daigle reportedly intervened, pushing the officer's hands away from Sharp and swearing at them.

Daigle, 36, of 1288 Bulgarmarsh Road, Tiverton was arrested and charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
