Tiverton Man Arrested For Drugs, Burglary
A 26-year-old Tiverton man was arrested on drug and burglary charges on June 22 after police found him living in a tent near Bottom St.

Tiverton Police arrested a Durfee Road man on felony burglary and drug charges after he allegedly broke into his mother's home and stole several hundred dollars worth of jewelry.
According to Lt. Patrick Jones, police issued a warrant to arest Brian R. Ferreira, 26, of 87 Durfee Road Apt. 3, following a breaking and entering report at his mother's home on May 30. According to reports, Ferreira allegedly admitted to his mother that he had committed the thefts. Police then issued a warrant for his arrest on burglary charges.
On June 22nd, police received a report that Ferreira was living in a tent on Bottom Street behine the . Officers discovered Ferreira in his tent during a search of the area.

"We found syringes, drug residue and a pill later found to be Suboxone and based on that we placed Mr. Ferreira into custody," said Jones.
Feriera was charged with domestic breaking and entering, burglary, and possession of narcotics. His bail was set at $10,000 with surety, but he was held at the Adult Correctional Institution in Cranston because he was found to be in violation due to other pending charges.
