Tiverton Man Charged With Dealing Heroin, Xanax, Percocet

The are busy investigating drug activity in the north end, and recently arrested one man accused of dealing heroin, Percocet and Xanax as part of their ongoing investigation.

Steven B. Bigelow, 23, of 290 Judson St., Tiverton, was arrested at 9:46 a.m., Friday, May 11. He was charged with three felony counts of manufacturing, delivering and possessing narcotics.

Lt. Patrick Jones said they began and investigation into drug activity in North Tiverton in December 2011. During the course of the investigation, Jones said detectives learned that Bigelow was involved in the sale of several different types of drugs. During a three-month period, Tiverton detectives made several controlled purchases of drugs from Bigelow, including heroin, Percocets, and Xanax. An arrest warrant was obtained for Bigelow, and he was subsequently arrested. He was arraigned in on May 11 and ordered held without bail.

Bigelow was and charged with possession of Oxycodone pills without a prescription.

Jones said Tiverton police are continuing their investigation into drug activity in the North section of the town, and more arrests are expected. He highlighted the continued exceptional police work of Det. Sgt. Mike Miguel, Sgt. Mike Carr, Det. Dan Martin and Det. Brendan McKinnon on this case.
