Tiverton Man Killed In Accident
A 74-year-old Tiverton man is dead after his motorcycle was struck by a car on Main Road.
Raymond Joubert, 74, formerly of 15 Bayview Ave., Tiverton, died on Tuesday at Rhode Island hospital from injuries sustained in a head-on crash, and police are looking for another vehicle that could have been involved.
Joubert's 1995 Suzuki motorcycle was traveling southbound on Main Road at 4:35 on Fridayin front of Bridgeport Seafood, according to Lt. Patrick Jones.
"The accident remains under investigation and we are exploring the possibility that a third vehicle may have been involved in an accident," said Jones. "We are asking any witnesses or anyone who was on scene during the accident to contact the Tiverton Police Department."
