Tiverton Police Charge Two With Heroin Possession at Bourne Mill Apartments

The following arrest information was supplied by the Tiverton Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

arrested a Weymouth, MA, couple last week after they were allegedly found possessing and using heroin at Bourne Mill Apartments.

Marco R. Rose, 28, of 47 Shawmut St., Apt. 1, Weymouth, MA, and Leaha Farley, 21, of 30 Shawmut St., Weymouth, MA, were both arrested at 7:07 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 15., at 1 Mill St. Both were charged with possession of heroin. Rose was also charged with possession of marijuana.

Officers responded to the Bourne Mill complex for a report of parties doing drugs in one of the apartments, according to Lt. Patrick Jones.

"A woman called and stated her niece and boyfriend were in her apartment doing drugs," Jones said. "She gave officers permission to enter the apartment, where they located Mr. Rose and Ms. Farley and found evidence of heroin use and also several baggies of heroin in their possession."

In all, Jones said poice found three to four small plastic baggies suspected to contain heroin and a small quantity of marijuana. Other evidence included syringes and other drug paraphernalia.
