Tiverton Police Arrest Fall River Man on Heroin Charges

After investigating suspicious activity in a car parked at the old last week on Main Road, arrested a Fall River man on heroin charges.
Jason C. Theroux, 32, of 387 Sprague St., Fall River, was arrested at 3:25 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 496 Main Road. Theroux was charged with possession of heroin.
According to Lt. Patrick Jones, officers were dispatched to that parking lot around 2:30 p.m. for a report of possible drug activity. Two officers approached a parked car containing three males, who were reportedly all asleep.

After waking them up, Jones said the officers were able to get the males out of the car and identify them. One of the males, later identified as Theroux, admitted to having a needle on himself. The officers seized the needle which had a liquid substance in it, suspected as heroin.
Police placed Theroux into custody and the other individuals were released from the scene.
