Tiverton Police: Man Allegedly Threatens His Mother and DUI

charged a local man with domestic disorderly conduct over the weekend after he allegedly continued making threatening remarks to his elderly mother.
Carl Lewis, 51, of 17 Seapowet Ave., Tiverton, was arrested at 1:24 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 25. He was charged with domestic disorderly conduct.
Police took a call from a man claiming to be Lewis' brother who was concerned about the welfare of their 77-year-old mother, according to Lt. Patrick Jones. The caller alleged his brother, later identified as Carl Lewis, was going to their mother's house over a period of time and making threatening remarks to her.

On Saturday when Lewis reportedly went over, the mother said she was going to get a restraining order to prevent him from coming over if he continued with his threatening behavoir. Jones said police observed the mother appeared shaky and nervous. They arrested Lewis based on several reported occasions where he's threatened his mother with harm.

Rauchle Felicia Tantimonico, 59, of 126 Esplanade, Middletown, was arrested 9:59 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 23. Tantimonico was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs or alcohol (first offense).
Jones said an officer on patrol on Route 24 southbound saw a vehicle driving in the breakdown lane and swerving from lane to lane. The officer stopped the vehicle, made contact with the operator, later identified as Tantimonico, and made observations of alcohol intoxication. Jones said the officer asked Tantimonico to step out of the car to submit a field sobriety test, and as Tantimonico opened the driver's side door, a clear plastic drinking cup spilled out. Jones said the officer determined the cup had an alcoholic smell to it.
Tantimonico reportedly failed the field sobriety test, was arrested and when brought back to the station, refused to submit a chemical test.
Violation of no contact order
Sovannary Lee, 23, of 909 Main Road, Tiverton, was arrested at 10:15 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 22. Lee was charged with violation of a no contact order. Lee was and charged with domestic simple assault for allegedly punching her boyfriend in the face during an argument and burning him with a cigarette.
Jones said police responded back to the residence for a report of a domestic im progress. Upon arrival, officers found Lee in an argument with her mother and boyfriend. It was soon learned that Lee had a no contact order issued against her, and she was arrested.
Bench warrant
Michelle Cesario, 42, of 81 Caribou Way, Tiverton, was arrested at 2:27 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 22. Cesario was taken into custody based on an outstanding bench warrant issued in Second District Court.
