Tiverton Police: No Contact Orders and Domestic Larceny

Fall River Man Violates No Contact Order
Bernard Edwards, 35, of 1264 North Main Road, Apt. 1, Fall River, MA, was arrested on Feb. 21 at 11 a.m. and charged with violating a no contact order against his estranged wife. According to police reports, Edward's wife contacted the Tiverton Police Department on Dec. 2 at 10:30 a.m. and alleged that Edwards had sent her a friend request on Facebook - in violation of the no contact order. Based information gathered in an ensuing investigation, a warrant was issued for Edwards arrest and he turned himself into police headquarters on Feb. 21. Edwards was arraigned in Second Division District Court on Feb. 21 and was released on $1,000 personal recognizance.

Richard Bowker, 26, of 580 East Road, Tiverton, was arrested on Feb. 24 at 10:27 p.m. and charged with domestic larceny. According to police reports, Bowker allegedly stole a social security card and other identifying documents from his ex-wife's home on Jan. 23. Police issued a warrant for Bowker's arrest and he was picked up by Tiverton Police on Feb. 24 after officer's found him inside a parked car at East Lake Variety. No release information was available.
