Tiverton Police Seek Suspect in North End Car Breaks [VIDEO]

Police reported the most recent incident happened on Thursday, Nov. 10.

are seeking a suspect wanted in various car breaks in the north end, the most recent reported from a resident's submitted video from last Thursday, Nov. 10.

According to Det. Brendan McKinnon, a car break-in occurred in the Lepes Road neighborhood at approximately 1:15 a.m. last Thursday. One resident, who has a surveillance camera, provided police the footage of a break-in in their driveway. McKinnon said there were numerous car break-ins in same area around that same time. It's been going on the for last several weeks.

"He's going around checking for unlocked cars and whatever contents are inside, he takes," he said.

The male, seen in the provided photo and video, is white, in his early 20s, probably between 5'9'' and 5'11'' and wears a white hat and a grey sweatshirt with reflective patches on it. The man was also wearing designer jeans. The center console of the vehicle seen in the photo was also heavily damaged, McKinnon said.

From previous incidents like this, McKinnon said they are stealing loose change, jewelry, iPods and navigation systems.
