VIDEO: Tiverton Residents Talk About Power Outages From Storm
Employees and customers of the Black Goose Cafe talked about the loss of electricity after Tropical Storm Irene on Monday.
The in Tiverton was packed on Monday with weary storm-ravaged patrons.
Manager Diana Lambrenos said she had not stopped working at full pace since 7 a.m. when they opened. The lunch line at the cafe stretched outside and down the steps to the entrance, she said.
"We only lost power for three hours yesterday," Lambrenos said, adding that people from Portsmouth and Newport were coming to Tiverton today to get their coffee and breakfast.

Resident Rachel Pimental, of Tiverton, couple Dale and Paul Gosselin of Fall River and employees Jackie Pacheco and Jessica Goncalo also talked about the loss of electricity and the general anxiety from Tropical Storm Irene.
