Tiverton Woman Gets 5 Charges in Windwood Apartment Fight

The woman involved in at , where two officers were injured, got charges of her own on Friday.
Pamela Alix, 42, of 700 Windwood Drive, Apt. 202, was arrested at 7:34 p.m., Friday, March 9. She was charged with simple assault on a police officer, obstruction of a police officer, disorderly conduct and two counts of vandalism.
During the initial investigation on the night of March 5, Lt. Patrick Jones said officers responded to a disturbance involving Alix and a man, Thomas White. Jones said yelling and screaming occurred when officers tried to speak to both parties. During the course of arresting White, it's alleged that Alix jumped on the back of Officer Christopher Riley, attempting to prevent or interfere with the arrest of White.

Jones said at that point, White allegedly injured two other officers in the process. They required immediate medical attention.
During the course of the investigation, Jones said police learned that earlier that evening on March 5, Alix was involved in a complaint where it's alleged she vandalized two vehicles owned by a tenant.

Jones said it's alleged Alix keyed, punched and dented the vehicles and poured a liquid believed to be nail polish remover on the hood of one of the vehicles.
Based on that, Jones said police obtained a warrant and took Alix into custody on Friday.
