An isolated water main break occurred Wednesday afternoon on Bulgarmarsh Road near Susan Lane, leaving up to 20 affected homes, according to the .
Operator Mike Normandin said age could be the cause of the break, and they have to dig up the asphalt to find the affected section of pipe. He said about 20 houses or so from Susan Lane and Lucy Avenue down to the intersection with Main Road could have dirty water until tomorrow morning.
Normandin added that it should take four or five hours to make the repairs.
