Winner: Best Place to Buy Sporting Goods

The results are in and in Tiverton is your pick for best place to buy sporting goods in this week’s .

They received 49 percent of the vote, while Riverside Marine and Living Water Surf each received 19 percent of the vote. Although there was only a 3 percent vote for other, we were told that in Newport (which coincidentely this week) and in Warren are also great places to get sporting goods. 

Here's a sampling of the comments:

- Living Water has to be the best! Great prices, owned by Chuck who is the kindest man you will ever meet, and they have something for everyone! Not just surfing but clothes, sunglasses, skateboards, helmets, bathing suits, shoes, you name it! There is no other comparison there really isnt!

- Living Water Surf is the place to go, hands down! Chuck is the best!!

- Weathervane Tack for all things horse, and Gob Shop in Warren for soccer, lax, swimming and even baseball clothing.
