Woman Charged With Breaking Into Tiverton Home

charged a woman with breaking and entering into a Brayton Road home and two counts of possession of drugs.
Kristen DeCosta, 30, of 22 College Lane, Apt. 1A, North Dartmouth, MA, was arrested at 6:12 p.m., Wednesday, March 28. She was charged with breaking an entering a dwelling without consent (a felony), and one count of possession of amphetamines and one count of possession of Diazepam without prescriptions.
Lt. Patrick Jones said the incident reportedly took place on Thursday, March 22 on Brayton Road, where a witness saw a woman, DeCosta, crawling through the window of a home and enter it. Jones said the witness told police DeCosta left out the front door and was asked what she was doing there. DeCosta reportedly got into a vehicle and drove off, and the witness took down the license plate number and description.

Based on that, Jones said a warrant was issued for the breaking and entering. DeCosta was picked up by on March 28 on an unrelated matter.
When brought back to Tiverton and during the inventory search, Jones said police found six Diazepam and 15 amphetamine pills in her possession.
