Warren Planning Board votes in new officers, talks comp plan process (eastbayri.com) — Warren’s Planning Board has new leadership and is gearing up to align zoning ordinances with the town’s recently adopted Comprehensive Plan, which will shape future development. Chair Blake Costa and Vice Chair E. Jenny K. Flanagan pressed to move faster on zoning updates, while new planning director Bianca Policastro weighs state-level land use changes that could affect Warren’s housing and economic growth. 
2. Pawtucket Resident Named Public Service Awardee by East Bay Non-profit (patch.com) — Warren residents are part of the Health Equity Zone work being celebrated when East Bay Community Action Program honors state health official Nadine Tavares at its June 11 Seaside Gala. Her support for the Bristol, East Providence, and Warren HEZs has helped expand community health and services across the East Bay, including programs that benefit local families.
3. State's energy-efficiency rebate program for home electrification, appliances expanded (pbn.com subscription) — Warren households are now eligible for Rhode Island’s expanded Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates, which can cover up to all or half the cost of efficient appliances and electrical upgrades, depending on income. Residents must apply and be approved before buying Energy Star appliances or scheduling wiring, panel, or gas-capping work, and will then receive coupons or contractor support through the state’s HEAR program.
