2 Stabbed, 1 In Custody: Warwick Police
A woman was stabbed in the abdomen and a man was stabbed in the neck, police said.
WARWICK, RI — A man and woman were stabbed on Ottawa Avenue Monday afternoon and another man was in custody, police said.
The man was stabbed in the neck and the woman in the abdomen, the Warwick Police Department said in a media release.
"Officers immediately rendered life-saving aid to the victims while awaiting the arrival of Warwick Fire personnel," the release said.

A second man, Caleb Brown, 29, was on the scene of the stabbing shortly before 3:30 p.m. and was taken into custody, according to the release.
"Criminal charges are expected but are pending further investigation at this time," the release said.

"Preliminary investigation indicates the incident stems from an ongoing domestic situation," according to the release.
