Wanted Massachusetts Man Jailed In Rhode Island

WARWICK, RI — A wanted Massachusetts man was arrested and jailed following a traffic stop in Warwick, police said.

Luis Carela Carty, 34, was pulled over on Interstate 95 about 2:15 a.m. Tuesday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Carela Carty failed to appear in court for a operation under a foreign license case, the release said.

Carela Carty was processed at the Wickford Barracks and taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions — Men's Intake, according to the release.
