Warwick Woman Charged With DUI: Cops

WARWICK, RI — A Warwick woman was charged with driving under the influence, police said.

Daniella Ciampanelli, 38, was pulled over shortly after 9:30 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 95 in Warwick, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Ciampanelli was also charged with refusing to submit to a chemical test, according to the release.

Ciampanelli was arrested after police received "reports of an erratic operator," the release said.

"Ciampanelli was transported to Kent Hospital for an evaluation, transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, arraigned, and released to a responsible adult," according to the release.
