Wanted Cranston Man Jailed
The Cranston man was apprehended during a traffic stop in Warwick, police said.
WARWICK, RI —A wanted Cranston man was apprehended during a traffic stop in Warwick and jailed, police said.
Scott Hampson, 52, was pulled over and arrested on Interstate 95 shortly after midnight Tuesday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Hampson was charged with failing to appear in court for an obtaining less than $1,500 worth of property by false pretense or personation case, the release said.

Hampson was processed at the Wickford Barracks and taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center, according to the release.
