• 25 years later, community remembers 9/11's local impact (thewesterlysun.com) — Westerly residents are marking the 25th anniversary of 9/11 through both remembrance and education, from annual talks at Westerly Middle School to reflections by local firefighters who deployed to Ground Zero.
