Florida Man Nabbed On False Report Of Crime Charge In West Greenwich: Cops
The Florida man was also charged with counterfeiting and forgery, police said.
WEST GREENWICH, RI —A Florida man was arrested on charges of falsely reporting a crime, forgery and counterfeiting, police said.
William Pinzone, 64, was pulled over and taken into custody on Nooseneck Hill Road in West Greenwich shortly after 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Pinzone was stopped after the state police issued a Be On the Lookout alert for an erratic driver, the release said.

Pinzone was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and released with a Third Division District Court date, according to police.
The state police failed to respond to a request for additional information on Pinzone's arrest.
