Additional Dates for Adopt-a-Family Applications

Community Care Alliance has added two additional dates when applications will be taken for the Adopt-A-Family program in Woonsocket. The additional sessions will be held at Community Care Alliance, 65 Main Street, Woonsocket Tuesday November 18th from 4-7pm and Wednesday November 19th from 4-7pm. Low-income families with children born between January 1, 2002 and time of application who live in Woonsocket are invited to apply. Applicants must bring the following with them when they apply: Picture ID, SNAP letter (food stamps), proof of all household income, birth certificates for all members of the household, current lease or rent receipt and utility bill, social security cards for all members of the household, documentation of any existing crisis illustrating why the family is in particular need at this time, documentation of enrollment in job training, ESL, GED, or advanced education programs, clothing sizes for children born, and two local phone numbers through which they can be reached. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
