Wanted Woonsocket Woman Arrested And Jailed: Cops

WOONSOCKET, RI — A wanted Woonsocket woman was arrested and jailed, police said.

Kayla Gilbert, age 39, was pulled over and arrested about 4:15 p.m. Thursday on Arnold Street in Woonsocket, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Gilbert was arrested on warrants charging her with missing court for possession of a controlled substance cases, the release said.

Gilbert was processed at state police headquarters and taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions Women's Intake Center, according to the release.
