Blackstone Standoff: No One Hurt & One Suspect Arrested
Police said a 71-year-old man barricaded himself in a house on Gaskill Street. Officers were sent there for a well being check.
BLACKSTONE, MA—No one was hurt, and one suspect was arrested after a SWAT Team was called to Gaskill Street on Sunday night. Edward Curtis Chandler, 71, of Blackstone, allegedly barricaded himself in a home there He is being charged with:
- Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Handgun, Two Counts)
- Possession of a Firearm without a License (Four Counts)
- Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card
- Possession of a Class C Substance
