Baldelli-Hunt purposefully misleading voters?

Rep. Lisa Baldelli-Hunt is using questionable tactics to influence voters.

Driving around the city, I've recently noticed a couple of street signs for Rep. Lisa Baldelli-Hunt. Her new signs are now adorned with pink ribbons, a near-universal sign of breast cancer awareness.

My question is this: What does this little logo subliminally transmit to voters?  Is the representative trying to tell voters that she's endorsed by the Susan G. Komen Foundation for a Cure? My guess is they have no idea who Lisa Baldelli-Hunt is and after seeing some of her votes would probably not endorse her.

Granted, the pink ribboon is considered "public domain" and Komen has trademarked another stylized pink ribbon; but by using the generic version of the ribbon, Baldelli-Hunt's behavior is unethical at best, immoral at worst and cynical to the point that she thinks she can run up to the border of fraudulent behavior so that she can influence constituents' votes.

Maybe someone on the news staff should ask the representative exactly what that little pink ribbon means.
