Woonsocket Man Senteced To 10 Years In Federal Prison For Child Porn Possession
The Woonsocket man was also ordered to pay $6,000 restitution.
WOONSOCKET, RI — A Woonsocket man was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for possessing child pornography.
Jerry Lee Davenport, 51, was also ordered to pay $6,000 restitution to the victims.
Davenport pleaded guilty in November to possessing child pornography, according to a media release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.

"According to court documents, in March 2023, members of Homeland Security Investigations and the Rhode Island Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received information that Davenport had received and viewed images containing child sexual abuse material," the release said.
"During a search of Davenport’s Woonsocket residence, law enforcement located several thumb drives in a locked drawer in Davenport’s bedroom containing numerous images of" child sexual abuse material, according to the release.
