Evelyn Brooks Designs

A profile of one of the many artists at this weekend's City Arts Festival. Elegant, Innovative and Contemporary Jewelry Designs - Stylish for Him and Exotic for Her, Evelyn Brooks

Evelyn Brooks was born in Peru. She graduated from Business Tourism School at the age of 21 and decided to work in a field relating to her studies. Fortunately, she was able to explore the travel industry and travel around the world as part of her job. Evelyn has taken up residency in several countries including Brazil, Mexico, El Salvador, and the United States, where she enjoyed the beauty each country has to offer.

In 2004, Evelyn discovered her new passion: jewelry making/design. Since then, she has studied different courses at the Torpedo Factory, The Gemological Institute of America and Empowered Women International in order to diversify her knowledge in the jewelry industry. This passion runs in the family, as her father has been a jeweler since age fourteen, and her mother ran a successful fashion and accessories boutique. Although Evelyn is no longer living in Lima; she travels to Peru to find inspiration and create her new collections inspired in Peruvian culture with modern designs and following the latest trends in the United States and the around the world.
